If you are taking the free Bible course on how to be saved and have completed the first three lessons on how the Bible came into existence, how to properly divide the word of God, and studied about man's fall into sin, you are now ready to learn about a major division in the scriptures.

The Old Testament has some important information about men called "patriarchs."  Three of these men are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  It is important to know about these three men because they lay the foundation for much of what is said in the Old Testament.  It was through these men (the patriarchs) that God created the nation of Israel and eventually brought Jesus into the world.  In Gal. 3:16 Paul said:  "Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ."

If you want to learn about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, plus get the truth about things like the "new birth," ask for the free Bible course available through the link on this blog.
