Psalm 112 is about the blessedness of the man who fears God. What are the lessons for us?
1. The Delight of the man who fears God (v.1).
The man who fears God has great delight in His commandments (v.1). He does not only delight in the commandments of God but greatly delights in them. It implies that he has a great love for the commandments. He does not argue or complain about God’s commandments being too restrictive and hard to follow. He will obey them all and meditate on them day and night: “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night” (Psalm 1:2).
