"Also it is not good for a person to be without knowledge, and he who hurries his footsteps errs" (Proverbs 19:2 NASB). Actions without knowledge are irresponsible and dangerous. We need to take time to reflect and ponder our actions and desires before we act upon. Time might even be need to study and examine a situation to determine the best course of actions especially if there is more than one side to hear (cf. Proverbs 18:17). The impulsive person who does not consider their actions and the situation is going to make mistakes.
